Chiranjeevi Sarja's last film Shivarjuna is all set to re-release in theatres on October 16. It was the actor's last film before he passed away on June 7 due to massive cardiac arrest. According to Unlock 5.0 guidelines, cinema halls and multiplexes in Karnataka will open with stringent safety measures from October 15. Initially, exhibitors are releasing old blockbusters. Shivarjuna hit the theatres in the second week of March, 10 days before India announced complete lockdown to combat the novel coronavirus pandemic. The film's theatrical run was cut short as theatres had to be closed. Seven months later, Shivarjuna will be the first film to re-release in Karnataka. Pregnant Meghana Raj is overwhelmed with the news and took to Instagram to share the poster of Shivarjuna with a heartfelt caption. She wrote, "RISING AGAIN... Chiranjeevi for a reason! #shivarjuna re-releasing this OCTOBER 16th (sic)." Meghana Raj was three months pregnant when her actor-husband Chiranjeevi Sarja breathed his last. She will be delivering her first child in the coming weeks. A few days ago, she had three baby shower functions hosted by her family and friends. Apart from Shivarjuna, Love Mocktail, which features Amrutha Iyengar, Rachana Inder, Abhilash and Kushi Achar, will also release in theatres. Love Mocktail received positive response from the audience. The film is also streaming on a popular OTT platform.
